The role of the Team Leader Non-ERP Applications is to coordinate a team of functional experts in charge of non-ERP applications and to take over end-to-end responsibility for various of those applications by themselves, incl. consulting internal customers, administration, implementation and support.

Job Description

  • Provide leadership and strategy to the Non-ERP Applications team.
  • Recruit and develop people in close collaboration with matrix manager.
  • Develop and maintain functional and personal competencies of the team including solution design, change management, bug fixing, daily support, etc.
  • Represent the team perspective within the GSC, Global Architecture, Business Process Ecosystem, User community, relevant Boards, and Projects.
  • Establish solid working relationships with key business stakeholders and an understanding of segment business models.
  • Apply industry best practices around demand management, change management, agile operations, and contribute to the establishment of a group wide efficient operating model.
  • Set up and monitor the operating rhythm and collaboration.
  • Overlook and monitor team delivery.
  • Review, secure, and monitor operational performance in collaboration with functional managers.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the team members and create career development plans.
  • Identify training needs and growth opportunities for the team.
  • Motivate and inspire team members.
  • Ensure new hires integrate effectively into the company culture.
  • Manage time and leave management.
  • Definition, design, implementation and maintenance of the functional application assigned to you
  • Tracking of upcoming changes and ensuring application availability
  • Gathering business requirements and providing an implementation concept
  • User training including creation of IT training documents
  • Technical documentation of customizations and developments
  • Optimization of applications towards optimal performance and usability
  • Support the cloud adoption to Azure roadmap (cloud first strategy, both Infrastructure and applications)
  • Define non-functional requirements and requirement frameworks for our digital solutions portfolio
  • Support solution architects connecting other applications to the Technology stack in an industrialized manner
  • 2nd level support
  • Solution Delivery as part of cross functional projects
  • Participation in cross functional project coordination (e.g. stream lead role)

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 5 years' experience in application management, 10 years' experience or more preferred.
  • Team Handling experience manadatory
  • Experience in handling IT application development
  • Ability to understand BC's business processes and provide adequate support.
  • Material skills in project management.
  • Working experience with EU or US customers.
