We are seeking a Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) who will take charge of delivery for a sports technology giant. The CDO will be responsible for delivery of products and solutions key to different business verticals.

Job Description

  • Project Delivery Excellence: Ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery across units, focusing on maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Efficiency & P&L Management: Oversee delivery P&L, implement operational controls, manage scope and resources, and drive margin improvements through optimized cost and revenue per FTE.
  • Resource Optimization & Cross-Unit Synergy: Lead the Resource Management Group (RMG) to enhance resource utilization, planning, and cross-skilling, fostering efficiency across all business units.
  • Technology Leadership & AI Integration: Collaborate with the CTO and product teams on product roadmaps, provide technical oversight, and spearhead AI-driven productivity and automation initiatives.
  • Customer Engagement & Team Development: Maintain CXO-level client relationships to drive business growth and cultivate a high-performance engineering culture through mentorship and leadership development.
  • Governance & Metrics-Driven Delivery: Establish and implement governance frameworks, KPIs, and best practices to transition the organization to a metrics-driven delivery model.

The Successful Applicant

A successful CDO should have:

  • Must have a very strong understanding of the fixed price delivery model, and must have executed, multiple projects on the same handling various use cases for margin optimization
  • Must be proficient in agile methodologies
  • Must be aware of engineering methods such as devops, and have knowledge of the different tools used in the SDLC
  • Must have experience of handling projects involving custom app development
  • Must have handled a large P&L and led a team of 150+ members in the past
