This role involves leveraging emerging cloud technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring technical staff to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Job Description

Cloud Architecture Design and Implementation

  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures using AWS and Azure services.
  • Leverage cloud-native services for compute, storage, networking, databases, and AI/ML applications.



Cloud Services and Provisioning

  • Provision and configure cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for automation.
  • Streamline cloud provisioning and deployment processes to enhance efficiency.



Serverless Computing

  • Architect serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
  • Develop serverless applications using Python and optimize for scalability and cost-efficiency.



FinOps (Cloud Financial Operations)

  • Implement FinOps practices to monitor and optimize cloud spending.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and enforce budgeting policies.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure cost-effective use of cloud resources.



Cloud Security

  • Apply security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance with standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Cloud Architect should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proficiency in cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of coding languages and infrastructure automation tools.
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture and service delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think strategically.
