VP - FP&A will be responsible for driving the overall Financial Planning and Analysis agenda for the firm and help transform the team, data and process to world class.The FP&A leader would not only run the regular reporting for management, but be the business partner knowing the pulse of the business and providing insights/ analysis to Management/ lenders and PE partners.

Our client has been in business for 20 + years in the US healthcare billing and collections industry (BPO) and has recently entered a very exciting hypergrowth phase, now led by a leading Private Equity Company

Job Description

  • Any and all analysis and recommendations related to the P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and other financial statements, investment decisions, budgets and forecasts and other ad-hoc analysis based on operational KPIs and accounting/ financial data for the company
  • Prepare budgets, plans and regular forecasts for the company in detail across all divisions
  • Analyze and present MIS reports with narrative/ MDNA of all actual results vs. budgets, prior periods, forecasts etc. e.g. Flash, monthly reporting, Business wise reporting, acquisitions reporting
  • Assess stakeholder (PE, CEO, CFO, Business leaders, sales and delivery leaders) needs for MIS and analytics and design refreshed reporting deliverables. Reassess current process for MIS process to streamline and improve speed and level of insight.
  • Support preparation of lender reporting- especially for acquisitions performance
  • Integrate several acquisitions of US/ India based firms into the data/ FP&A infrastructure and track synergies in great detail
  • Collaborate with sales teams, business leaders to enable growth e.g. pipeline, churn, retention analysis
  • Collaborate with delivery leaders to save costs and increase productivity e.g. automation, offshoring
  • Collate and prepare not just capex plans but other growth and other investments ROI and business cases that improve financial position of the company
  • Track and point out issues ahead of time and help mitigate emerging risks
  • Hire develop and retain an A Team of FP&A analysts that are high energy, detail oriented and great communicators
  • Transform the data/ reporting tech stack for the firm starting with current data repositories, XL version control and leading upto full ERP and then BI tool implementation and dashboarding. Provide requirements for and work with the ERP project team to ensure data needs for all stakeholders are met.

The Successful Applicant

CORE EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

· CA or MBA (+ Graduate in quantitative field) from high-ranking institution

· 12+ years of experience in FP&A in a firm of high growth or turnaround situation; should include some experience in M&A integration and tracking

· Global Business Service industry experience (ideally IT/ ITES/ BPO/ KPO/ consulting/ captive) at least 6 years. Ideal candidate would have worked in the RCM (Healthcare billing) industry.

· Basic understanding of accounting standards (US GAAP) and financial metrics

· Executive presence - strong written and verbal communication skills including preparation of compelling presentations for senior international stakeholders

· High energy, go-getting, entrepreneurial mindset and a keen business sense

· Resilient, flexible and savvy business relationship builder

· Very high numerical, logical and reasoning intelligence and problem-solving skills

· Highly detail oriented - ability to pick of anomalies, trends, patterns issues from data/ due diligence

· Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

· Basic understanding and experience with BI systems like Tableau, Power BI, COGNOS etc.

· (Nice to have) knowledge and experience working with ERP systems like Workday. Netsuite, MSD365, Oracle

· Normal working hours would align with at least 5 hours overlap with US East coast (typical team time is 1p-11p) and there are extended hours/ weekends on occasion.DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
