This role will lead business finance for manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on costing, variance analysis, planning, and SAP FICO implementation. The position is both strategic and hands-on, closely working with plant and corporate leadership teams.

Job Description



  • Build and manage weekly/monthly cost reporting systems; lead cost reviews with operations


  • Drive annual business plans and rolling forecasts for production and costs


  • Lead variance analysis, compare plan vs. actuals, and recommend corrective actions


  • Analyze product-level profitability and margins


  • Oversee end-to-end SAP FICO module implementation and integration


  • Define and monitor working capital norms, including inventory, stores, and spares


  • Deliver MIS with key consumption metrics and operational KPIs; support plant performance reviews


  • Lead cost reduction and process improvement projects using analytics


  • Strengthen revenue assurance through financial controls and contract oversight


  • Implement capital governance processes and evaluate ROI for CapEx projects


  • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with accounting standards


  • Collaborate with plant heads and corporate leadership to drive financial strategy



The Successful Applicant



  • Qualification: CA or CMA (mandatory)


  • Experience: 12-15 years of relevant experience in business finance within the chemicals or pharma industries


  • Skills: Strong knowledge of costing, FP&A, SAP CO, and variance analysis


  • Mindset: Independent, hands-on, collaborative, with ability to influence cross-functional leadership
