Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business strategy initiatives for the company, leveraging industry knowledge and insights.
  • Lead initiatives related to strategic planning, market research, and competitive intelligence to support global pharmaceutical business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams to track and support progress toward booking and revenue targets.
  • Continuously evaluate customer segments, identify strategic opportunities and market gaps, and provide insights to guide business decisions.
  • Partner with the marketing and branding team to ensure cohesive business messaging across all channels.
  • Drive the creation of thought leadership content and contribute to marketing material in collaboration with external consultants/agencies.
  • Prepare monthly business summaries and executive dashboards for senior management review.
  • Support strategy execution through project management, aligning with crossfunctional teams across geographies.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Proven experience (8-10 years) in business strategy or commercial excellence, preferably in a CDMO or B2B life sciences environment.
  • Strong expertise in business intelligence, analytics, and interpreting complex data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM usage, reporting, and dashboards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior leadership and internal stakeholders (commercial, operations, and strategy teams).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and VBA.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling ad-hoc projects including competitive analysis, market segmentation, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Must be a strategic thinker with a high level of initiative and a strong bias for execution
