Opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentAbout Our ClientOur client is a global pharmaceutical company with the purpose to improve patients' lives.Job DescriptionA few key responsibilities include:Work-plan and project-manage key cross-functional initiatives within the ESG program, and ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved on timeCollaborate closely with the business and key internal stakeholders to define and deliver on the ESG reporting and disclosure agenda within the company (e.g. in line with relevant TCFD, UK CRP, EU Omnibus, VSME, SASB requirements etc.)Drive the annual ESG data collection and analysis process in coordination with finance team (e.g. on Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions), including owning the data analysisCoordinate the annual ESG report preparation alongside external consultants, including information and data gathering, SME coordination, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, content development, etc.Maintain clear documentation of new methodologies deployed, key decisions taken, lessons learned etc. as part of managed initiativesReview company documents such as sustainability reports, annual reports, as well as other corporate and third party publications and assessing about adopting the best practices which are applicable to the companyOversee the preparation of responses to inquiries from external stakeholders (e.g. customers, investors)Manage effective and proactive engagement and communication with all stakeholders around ESG (e.g. Finance & Controlling, Communications, Human Resources etc.), by anticipating reporting requirements and necessary stakeholder contributionsConduct ESG research as required and keep up-to-date with relevant ESG industry trendsServe as one of the main coordination points for the functions on ESG topics and provide hands-on support where needed to ensure we meet company's ESG targetsThe Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate would have:Degree level education or equivalent in business / finance / other quantitative or scientific discipline2-5 years relevant work experience in business consulting / project management / financial reporting / pharmaceutical operationsESG and sustainability experience (within or outside of pharmaceuticals) is a good-to-havePharmaceutical industry knowledge and experienceEvidence of project management training / certificationsProficient project management skills including project identification, scoping, delivery and documentationAdvanced analytical, data handling, research and problem-solving skillsStrong interest in and / or willingness to develop expertise in environmental, social and governance topicsWhat's on OfferThe candidate has a unique opportunity to contribute to the availability of essential medicines within a dynamic, international environment.
