Job Description

  • Coordinate onboarding new data partners using tools and methods such as SFTP, SSH, AWS S3, and REST APIs.
  • Work directly with data partners to resolve connection issues, answer queries, and ensure smooth data integration.
  • Assess data changes, attributes, and quality; adapt processes for non-standardized data formats.
  • Set up and rigorously test patient de-identification systems to ensure compliance.
  • Execute and troubleshoot data ingestion pipelines.
  • Perform manual testing against test plans and author automated tests using DBT, Python, or similar frameworks.
  • Partner with project managers and site/clinical personnel to deliver data on schedule and with exceptional quality.



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Data Integration Engineer role will be an analytical and innovative problem-solver with strong technical skills in data integration and software development. They will have 2+ years of experience in data analysis or software programming, with proficiency in SQL, DBT, and tools like AWS, SFTP, and REST APIs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an Agile environment, possess a strong customer service mindset, and be capable of navigating ambiguity to deliver high-quality data solutions. Additionally, experience with healthcare data, clinical research, and compliance standards will be a plus.
