About Our Client

Incubate Fund is a leading seed-focused venture capital fund originally from Japan. They have invested in more than 200 startups in Japan and other parts of Asia.

In 2016, they set up an India dedicated fund with a focus on pre-seed and seed-stage startups. This is Incubate Fund India. Incubate Fund Group has offices in Tokyo, Singapore, Bangalore, Sao Paulo and Mountain View.

Since they have invested in 200+ start ups all over Asia, they have massive case studies of success and failure of startups. Incubate Fund Asia provide hands-on support and mentoring for all of their portfolio startups based on these studies and experiences. Also, with utilising their strong networks and connections in Japan and other parts of the world, they will support Indian startups to go global.

SMBC Asia Rising Fund has made three new investments in MODIFI, Easy Home Finance, and M2P Fintech, each actively operating across India and Southeast Asia.Their India portfolio includes investments in companies like Yulu, Captain Fresh, Shop Kirana, Plum, WizKlub and Tamasha among others.

Job Description

As an Investment Analyst in the team, your responsibilities will revolve around but not be limited to -

  • Sourcing of new deals or potential investments
  • Due diligence and deal execution
  • Evaluating start-ups and doing sectoral research
  • Portfolio monitoring and management

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience Required: 1-3 years of experience in PE/VC/Growth Funds or Top Tier Consulting Firms
  • Education Qualification: Has completed their under-graduation/MBA from a Tier-1 Institute
  • Sector Outlook: Exposure to Tech investments preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and complete proficiency with MS-Office tools like Excel, Word and PowerPoint
